Fall Farm Market Festival

farm market logoCome spend the day at 868 celebrating the farm in autumn!  Play a round of cornhole; wander our 120 acres of vineyards in the midst of harvest.  Stay awhile and enjoy live music by Panhandle Dan, shopping at our unique vendors and a crisp fall afternoon at the farm.

Enjoy local food prepared by our farm to table restaurant, Grandale; live music throughout the afternoon; award winning wine and much more.

Taste some wine!  We love to pair our wine with truffles or bites of food.  Stop at one of our tasting areas to see what we’re pairing today!

Hungry?  We’ve got you covered!   BBQ, grilled chicken sandwiches, vegetarian bean burgers and hot dogs are available at The Grill in our pavilion.  

If you are looking for something gourmet, make a reservation to dine at Grandale where we are serving our regular menu and also featuring a three course prix fixe farm menu. 

Our vendors will tempt you with handmade wooden items, essential oils, goat’s milk soaps, and other items celebrating the Loudoun farm scene.

Donations are being accepted to purchase Cards of Hope to help home cooks in the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey fill their spice cabinets and get back to cooking!  …because we know how important it is to connect with each other through art and food.

The Vine: Octoberfest!

As the days get shorter and the evenings start to chill, let’s raise a glass to German wines tonight with a great harvest meal celebrating the fruits of our farm labor!  Dust off your dirndl and get ready for a warm evening together with friends.

Tickets are $55/pp and include four wines and a delectable four course gourmet meal. 

The Vine is a monthly women’s wine dinner served at 868 Estate Vineyards.  Four courses, four wines, door prizes and more!  Join us in the welcoming environment of Grandale to drink carefully selected wines, eat wonderful food from Chef Author and enjoy the company of lively women. Event tickets are non- refundable.  Gratuity not included.

VA wine month logoCelebrate Virginia Wine Month this weekend with an enticing farm-to-fork meal featuring wine from three Virginia vineyards.  

Our three-course meal ($41/pp) will feature an appetizer, entrée and dessert each paired with a delicious example of Virginia viticulture, including wines from Quattro Goomba, Sunset Hills Vineyard and Crosskeys Vineyards.

Regular menu also available.  Reservations suggested, but not required.  Wine pairing menu served all weekend long.

The Vine: Tango with Argentinian Wine and Food!

cancer ribbonIn honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, jewelry boutique Kendra Scott will be set up before the dinner at 6:30 with a shopping opportunity.  20% of the proceeds from tonight will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and when you buy a piece of jewelry, Kendra Scott will send a piece to a woman currently going through cancer treatment.  You’ll also have the chance to write a note of encouragement to accompany the jewelry gift.


We’re heading south of the equator tonight where it’s spring and bud break is just beginning.  Our meal takes us on a jaunt through Argentina.  Malbec, anyone?  But, wait!  There’s more…   In a land so diverse as to host both howler monkeys and penguins, both tropics and icy archipelagos, the wine is equally diverse.  Come discover something unexpected tonight!

Please note that shopping begins at 6:30 and that dinner will begin at 7:00 as usual.

baby its coldJoin us to make a beautiful chalkboard to celebrate the Christmas season in your home!

For this Make-n-Take, you’ll choose from three projects (at registration) which include a designer magnetic chalkboard and a transfer template for making a special seasonal display for your home.

We’ll learn how to apply chalkboard transfers, use Chalkology Paste as paint and finish the project off – all while drinking a glass of wine of your choice with friends at 868 Estate Vineyards.

Ellen Crosby Book Signing: The Vineyard Victims

We’re excited to welcome back local legend Ellen Crosby to 858 Estate on November 18th for a book signing of her newest mystery, The Vineyard Victims. The death of a former presidential candidate intersects with a mystery from thirty years before.  Lucie Montgomery is on the trail – and being trailed herself!
