    We simply cannot say enough good things about Grandale. They catered our wedding at Breaux Vineyards, and did an absolutely spectacular job! We received SO many compliments from our guests on how fantastic the food and the service were. One guest remarked how amazing the food was compared to “typical wedding food”- generous portions (we had a plated meal), exquisite food, everything cooked to perfection… Chef Author and Misty are a delight to work with, very responsive, and are so professional and experienced they will totally make you feel at ease, important for an event when most people’s anxiety is high! Working with them made the wedding planning process FUN, and not a chore at all – starting with the first private tasting at their lovely, cozy restaurant, to the menu selection meeting, to the final tasting and of course, the wedding- everything was perfect. HIGHLY recommend, if you want top notch catering at your event!

    The moment we had our first bite at Grandale Restaurant, we looked at each other and knew this was the caterer & location (868 Estate Vineyards) for us. Chef Author Clark helped us create a menu specifically for us based on the season and locally available products. Events manager Misty kept me calm through the entire planning process. Misty and Mary did a wonderful job executing on the day of the wedding. The staff was courteous and wonderful to my guests the entire night. I would highly recommend Grandale restaurant to other brides searching for a fantastic caterer for their wedding.

    “Friendly and efficient”

    My husband and I selected Chef Author and Grandale Catering to cater our vineyard wedding for about 110 people since they were the hands down recommendation from our vineyard. The Grandale staff was friendly, efficient, and very pleasant to have serve the wedding. The quality of food was great, everything was obviously fresh and often local if possible. We received a lot of compliments from guests that they loved the food, especially the mac & cheese spoons and steak. You definitely get a lot for your money, and it’s a great value (both in quantity and quality).

    I cannot say enough positive things about Grandale Catering to do them justice. Author was an absolute joy to work with. He went above and beyond, every step of the way. From the tasting to clean up, he made us feel like royalty. He kept in touch throughout the planning process and offered wonderful suggestions to make our day fabulous. We had many last minute requests and he never missed a beat or said no to anything.

    The food was absolutely amazing! We’ve been to many of weddings and never tasted better food. The presentation was beautiful, everything was timed perfectly and every guest walked away feeling like they had a 5 star experience. The bartender was awesome and the waitstaff went above and beyond to assist guests. The team was extremely professional and so helpful throughout the day.

    They made my wedding day stress free and the overall result was outstanding! I look forward to using their services for future events. We consider Author a family friend at this point.

    “Definitely recommend Grandale Catering”

    Our guests loved the food!  Arthur, the chef at Grandale, was wonderful to work with. We went back several times as I adjusted the floor plan and menu, and he very responsive and always professional.

    The tasting was actually a full meal at the Grandale Farm restaurant. Because they make everything fresh from local farms, we didn’t actually eat the items on our catering menu; instead, it was a close equivalent using the available produce at the restaurant that day. The tasting meal was so wonderful at the restaurant that we knew the catered food would be just as great. I would definitely recommend Grandale Catering and plan to go back to eat at their restaurant.
